Okay, I know all winter we fantasized about summer but now that the temps and humidity are high, it's time to figure out the best way to get out of the heat. So gather up the troops and head to your nearest cinema.
If you are in the U.P., head over to Carmike Cinema (Varsity Cinema) in the Soo. Every Thursday through early August at 10 a.m. admission is just $4. This also includes a small popcorn and a small drink.

In Green Bay? Take advantage of the Kids Dream Summer Film Series at Marcus Bay Park Square and Marcus Green Bay East. Kids can watch PG rated movies at 10 a.m. every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday through mid- August. Admission is $2 and specially-sized popcorn and drinks are just $2.50 each.
