Blue Star Museums

Served in the military and traveling this summer?

The Milwaukee Art Museum is offering free admission to vets and active military members all summer starting today. This also applies up to five additional family members through Labor Day.

Over 2000 museums and historical societies around the U.S. are honoring vets and active military members this summer by giving free or discounted admission to members and their families as part of the Blue Star Museums program.

Here are just a few of the museum and attractions in the Northeast Wisconsin and U.P. areas who are also giving discounts:

Michigan:
Alpena- Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center
Copper Harbor- Lore of the Lakes Maritime Museum
Detroit- Detroit Institute of the Arts, Motown Museum
Hancock- Quincy Mine Hoist
Ishpeming- U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame
Mohawk- Delaware Copper Mine

Wisconsin:
Crivitz- Crivitz- Stephenson Historical Society
De Pere- Oneida Nation Museum
Green Bay- National Railroad Museum
Lena- Camp Five
Manitowoc- Manitowoc Historical Society, Pinecrest, and Wisconsin Maritime Museum
Neenah- Bergtrom Mahler Museum
Oshkosh- Oshkosh Public Museum
Sturgeon Bay- Miller Art Museum
