Hiawatha is always held the next-to-last full weekend in July at the Marquette Tourist Park. Of course, that means this weekend.

Each year’s event features traditional-music styles that include bluegrass, old-time, Cajun, Celtic, acoustic blues and folk – including singer/songwriters – and dance. Mainstage acts include nationally known performers as well as regional and local favorites.

This year's mainstage acts include:

Bonsoir Catin
Costabella Cloggers
Craver, Hicks, Watson, Newberry
Door Cats
Antje Duvekot
John Gorka
Ironweed
Kaivama
Charlie Parr
Royal Garden Trio
Solas

The Festival also has special areas for children and teens with organized activities and performances designed for those age groups.

Concessions are available. Enjoy pizza, ice cream, donuts, alongside local favorites from Sweet Basil and Beaver Grove Bison.

Shop for a variety of arts and crafts including pottery, musical instruments, bead work, glass, jewelry and clothing.
