Pow Wows

Many, including myself, are planning a time of gathering and entertaining over the next five days. In addition to picnics, parades and fireworks, many in our region take the time to reconnect with heritage and tradition through pow-wows.
Two of the largest Native American tribes in the Great Lakes region are the Chippewa (Ojibwe) and Oneida peoples. Both of these tribes hold pow-wows each year around the Fourth of July. Here's the information for this year's pow-wows.
