Dry Point Etching with Jason Limberg
August 6-8, 5-8 p.m. and August 13- 15, 5-8 p.m.
Price: TBA
Description: Learn basic dry point etching techniquest with acclaimed artist, Jason Limberg. By getting your hands dirty, you will learn a linear medium, drypoint, which past masters have used to create images having lush blacks, delicate tones, and abstract lines. In the class, you will develop strong works of art from which you make multiple prints. Students will be immersed in techniques from drawing on the plate, mixing ink, and then printing these stunning images by hand. Through class critiques and lively discussion, students will walk away wit the ability to practice this amazing art form at home. Ages 13 & up.

Group Voice Lessons with June Ackroyd
Time: Wednesdays, July 10 - August 14, 6-7pm
Price:$35 for city residents & $40 for non-city residents, $3 Lab Fee
Description: Enjoy learning the basics of singing, including relaxation, posture, breathing, support of the tone, warm-ups, range, resonance, and diction. Traditional, classical, and musical theatre songs are used. June Ackroyd is an accomplished vocalist with 25 years of teaching experience as a university professor. Ages 13 and up.



Resin Jewelry Making with Kelly Limberg
Time: Tuesdays, August 6 & 13, 5-8pm
Price:$25 for city residents and $50 for non-city residents, $8 Lab fee
Description: The instructor will teach students how to use and prepare resin to make one-of-a-kind jewelry.

Summer Senior Arts
Time:First and Third Tuesdays of every month, 1-3pm
Price: FREE
Description:Professional artists instruct participants in this new program for Seniors only. Each month a new professional artist will lead the group. Funded by the Reynolds Foundation and the City of Marquette Senior Center. Artists include:
July - Gene Bertram, acrylic painting
July - Renee Michaud, silk scarves
August - Diana Magnuson, drawing

Craft Cafe
Time: Tuesdays, 10am - 12pm
Price: FREE
Description:Drop in for FREE tea, coffee, and a space to work on your art projects with fellow city residents.
