Free or cheap events around N.E. Wisconsin this weekend

There's seemingly something to do for everyone this weekend in Northeast Wisconsin.

Like free music?
Tomorrow, June 8, Summer in the Park will feature Mariachi Estrella on Jackson Square (Monroe Ave., Green Bay) from 11:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. FREE

Like classic cars?
On Sunday, get yourself to Allouezfest Precious Metals Car Show and Swap Meet from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in Green Isle Park in Green Bay. In addition to a park full of cool, classic cars, the event will feature food and refreshment, a live DJ, kids games and inflatables. FREE

Like summer festivals?
Head north to Oconto for Copperfest all weekend. The event runs 5 p.m.- 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m- midnight on Saturday; and 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Sunday at Ner-Park (Arbutus Ave. and Madison Street). There is a $2 admission on Friday, $3 on Saturday and $1 on Sunday. The festival features a parade and fireworks.

Like plants and animals?
The Green Bay Animal Rescue group is holding a plant sale this Saturday at the home of Denise Markowski at 134 Cliffview Drive in Green Bay from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. There are 300 plants ready to sell. Also, some of the rescue group's foster dogs will make an appearance. Get your garden looking good and support a great cause.

Like watching others run or sprinting yourself?
This Saturday is the Bellin Run. Catch glimpses of your favorite runners as they wind their way through Green Bay to the finish line.
